WhatsJSON processes all data locally in your browser. When you click "Export chat", the extension reads the currently open conversation and saves it, together with its attachments, to a folder you choose on your own computer.

No data is collected, stored, or transmitted by the developer.

No account or sign-up is required.
The extension only runs on web.whatsapp.com and only acts when you click Export.

Because nothing ever leaves your device, there is no data for us to sell, share, retain, or delete. Your chats stay yours.
